With the current covid-19 crisis, many companies are only conducting interviews remotely, through apps like Zoom, Skype, Google Hangouts, and Microsoft Teams. Whether it’s your company’s office or the Oval Office that you’re putting in the picture, virtual backgrounds are a great way to lighten the mood. Backgrounds can be used as a source of entertainment, a talking point, or something to help set the scene.By now you’ve likely seen co-workers, friends, or family members testing out virtual backgrounds in Zoom meetings. Remember that you can change your background to match the type of call you are on.Try using your own personal virtual background for online conference calls.To replace your background select Add new and then select one to upload from your computer. Your background options will display on the right. To add your virtual background to Microsoft teams:īefore joining a meeting select Background Filters (below the video image). Select which virtual background you want to upload by clicking the plus (+) icon to the right of Video Filters.
